Postra - Social Automation (N8N)
THE OVERVIEW
Postra was designed as a fully autonomous social media manager that eliminates the need for manual content creation and posting. Built on n8n, it orchestrates multiple AI-driven processes—content discovery, rewriting, visual generation, and publishing—into a seamless workflow. By integrating external APIs and internal SaaS tools, it creates a complete content lifecycle engine tailored for consistent social growth.
THE CHALLENGE
The primary challenge was orchestrating multiple asynchronous systems—AI generation, third-party APIs, and social platform integrations—while maintaining reliability and content quality. Handling rate limits from the Facebook Graph API, ensuring relevant and non-repetitive content from sources like Reddit, and synchronizing image generation with posting workflows required robust error handling, retries, and queue control mechanisms.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Successfully built a self-running social media automation system capable of daily content publishing and engagement without human intervention. Reduced content production time to near zero, ensured consistent branding through Photocard integration, and created a scalable workflow architecture that can be extended to multiple platforms beyond Facebook.
